The project
Wreckage
How a dream held since the age of sixteen became a first album.

Who is behind it
Justin Cusack
Writer, player, and the whole band
Wreckage is a one-man progressive groove metal project. Justin writes it, plays it, and records it himself.
The plan now is simple. Release the music, build the sound, and find the right people to carry it further.
The story
From a teenage plan to a first step
Wreckage is the progressive groove metal project that Justin Cusack has wanted to build since he was sixteen years old.
In his late twenties and early thirties, the wreckage of his life decisions caught up with him. Out of pure desperation he refocused and recommitted himself to the dream, which was to release music as a band called Wreckage.
This time he made one change. He decided he did not absolutely need a band to release music if he did it all himself. As life shifted around him, he kept this at the top of the list.
Now at thirty three, he realised he finally had what he needed. For a first step.
The wreckage of my life decisions caught up with me, so I refocused and recommitted to the dream.
